In the Kyiv region, rescuers pulled four fishermen out of the icy water at once.

This was reported on Wednesday, February 14, by the Main Department of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine.

According to rescuers, one of the men went fishing on the ice and fell. Another fisherman, hearing the screams, called 101 and rushed to the rescue, but also fell under the water.

Two more caring citizens in a boat who were fishing on the opposite bank came to their aid. But they also fell into an ice trap.

With the help of a boat, a rope and life jackets, the men were brought to the shore, where the ambulance crews were already waiting for them. Two of them were in serious condition with hypothermia.

Also, in the Mykolaiv region, a 16-year-old girl fell under the ice — she was saved by a local resident.
