Denys Shmyhal added that Ukraine has a «clear and understandable position» regarding the de-occupation of the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant.

«This is the activation of the toughest sanctions against the Russian Federation, the use of all possible instruments of the International Atomic Energy Agency and the UN, and the return of Ukrainian control over the station as soon as possible,» the prime minister said.

Note that on March 4, two years have passed since Russian troops occupied the Zaporizhzhia NPP.

Earlier it was reported that the Russian army was again mining the occupied Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant.

Earlier, Ukrenergo reported that if the Russians succeeded in occupying the South Ukrainian nuclear power plant in the Mykolaiv region, it would «hit the energy system» of Ukraine «hard».
