The Mykolaiv Emergency Hospital received a portable X-ray machine. This is one of 80 devices that were provided to Ukraine as part of a donation of more than $2 million from the Korean government.

It is noted that the device allows X-ray diagnostics without being tied to a specific place.

«Thanks to its compactness, the device can be used both for stationary and mobile use. So, in the emergency hospital, it is planned to use it in the reception department, in the wards, as well as in possible emergency situations — in any place where the patient is, including on the street,» said the director of the hospital Oleksandr Demianov.

He also emphasized that under the conditions of work in the front-line city, the hospital receives patients not only from Mykolaiv and the region, but also from the Kherson region. Therefore, thanks to this device, the quality and speed of diagnosis and treatment should improve.

«The device allows you to quickly and effectively diagnose injuries, fractures, splinter damage and other damage. It enables doctors to quickly obtain high-quality images of internal organs and structures to determine the necessary medical interventions,» the message added.
