Before that, Nataliia Pushkariova was elected coordinator of the National Alliance of Volunteers under the President of Ukraine.

Also, the head of state dismissed Olena Verbytska, who worked as the commissioner for ensuring the rights of defenders since October 2021. Since March of the same year, Verbytska headed the Advisory Council on Ensuring the Rights and Freedoms of Persons Who Participated in the Defense of Ukraine.

It is currently unknown who was appointed to replace the dismissed officials.
