Ukraine received 40 ambulances from South Korea

Today, May 15, Ukraine received 40 ambulances from the Korean Red Cross.

This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Health.

It is noted that the «ambulance» cars will be handed over to health care institutions of the Dnipropetrovsk, Donetsk, Zakarpattia, Zaporizhzhia, Mykolaiv, Odesa, Poltava, Sumy, Kharkiv, Kherson, Cherkasy, and Chernihiv regions.

According to the Ministry of Health, the cars are equipped with everything necessary to transport seriously ill patients and provide additional medical support during transportation to and between hospitals.

In general, since 2022, Ukraine has received more than 150 ambulances from the Republic of Korea.

The message also states that as a result of the full-scale war, Russian forces damaged 164 ambulances, destroyed another 261 and captured 125.

It was previously reported that Canada will allocate more than $55 million to strengthen Ukrainian air defense. At the time, the Ministry of Defense noted that these funds would be used for «quick search and supply of air defense systems for Ukraine.»
