In Mykolaiv, 210 apartment buildings have already received compensation under the programme to co-finance the repair of in-building water supply, sewage and heating networks.

This was announced by Ihor Nabatov, deputy director of the Mykolaiv Department of Housing and Communal Services, during a meeting of the executive committee on Wednesday, 26 November, NikVesti reports.

According to him, the «50-50» programme enables condominiums and management companies to receive compensation from the city budget for 50% of the cost of repairing engineering networks in buildings.

«Since 2024, 316 buildings have applied for the programme. Of these, 210 have already had repairs carried out and the networks completely replaced. We are processing 89 applications. Another 10 have been returned for revision, and 7 addresses are currently undergoing a survey», said Ihor Nabatov.

The Executive Committee supported the decision to extend the programme for another year.

In May, the city council expanded the compensation programme to cover repairs of in-building heating networks. At that time, it was said that the total cost of the work already completed was more than 6.2 million hryvnias, of which more than 3.1 million hryvnias was compensated from the budget.

The programme reimburses funds for the repair of only those networks located in the basements of buildings and does not apply to the branching of apartments. The reimbursement amount is 50% of the total cost of works and materials, but not more than 150 thousand hryvnias.
