Minister of Health Viktor Liashko emphasized the importance of this initiative, noting that the last centralized purchase of similar equipment was carried out in 2009-2010.

«Anesthetic breathing machines are extremely important equipment without which high-tech surgical interventions cannot be performed. Thanks to high-quality monitoring, doctors can effectively and promptly prevent life-threatening situations, control the depth of anesthesia, which in turn ensures the safety of the patient during surgery,» he noted.

The new devices are equipped with modern monitors of the patient's vital indicators, which allows doctors to monitor the patient's condition in real time, control the concentration of inhalation anesthetic and respond in time to any changes during the operation.

Medical workers will also be trained on the use of anesthetic breathing apparatus.

We will remind that in January 2024, four hospitals of the Mykolaiv region received medical equipment, the purchase of which was financed by the Japanese government.
