He stated this in a comment to the Russian media.
In particular, the press secretary called the USA an unfriendly country involved in the war against Russia.
«We analyze the words that are spoken, and mainly we will draw conclusions about the statements, about the topics that are on our agenda, when they arrive. What else will have to wait, taking into account that almost a month and a half, the current president of the USA will fulfill his duties. I am not aware of the president's plans to welcome Trump. Let's not forget that we are talking about an unfriendly country that is both directly and indirectly involved in the war against our state,» said Dmytro Pieskov.
In addition, he emphasized that it is impossible to end the war in Ukraine overnight, as Trump claimed.

French President Emmanuel Macron has already congratulated Donald Trump on his victory in the presidential elections.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy also congratulated Donald Trump on his victory in the US presidential election. He noted that he hopes for the implementation of the «peace through strength» approach for a just end to the war in Ukraine.
