A Russian drone tracked down the head of the German Foreign Ministry in Mykolaiv

During the visit of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Germany, Annalena Baerbok, to the Mykolaiv Region, the delegation was monitored by a Russian reconnaissance drone.

This was reported by the Russian-language edition of the German publication BILD.

It is noted that the minister was accompanied by BILD correspondent Nadiia Asvad. As the journalist said, a convoy of cars with the head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs left for the Black Sea to visit a desalination station there, located 50 kilometers from the front line.

On the way to the station, a Russian reconnaissance drone approached the convoy of cars. His appearance is usually followed by an attack from the air.

«The Ukrainian members of the delegation had an alarm on their smartphones, and the drivers started trying to avoid the drone. But he flew behind the column, chasing them. As a result, they managed to break away, the drone flew away. But the visit to the station was cancelled,» the newspaper writes.

Also, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Germany reported that the visit to hydrotechnical facilities had to be canceled ahead of time due to security reasons.
