Shelling of Mykolaiv, illustrative photo: NikVestiThe head of the Mykolaiv regional military administration, Vitalii Kim, confirmed that Mykolaiv was attacked by two guided aerial bombs on 16 October.
He said this on the air of the TV channel «We Are Ukraine».
According to Vitalii Kim, the type of aircraft bombs is currently being established. He also noted that this is the first attack on the suburbs of Mykolaiv with CABs since the beginning of the full-scale invasion.
«Yesterday the enemy attacked Mykolaiv region. I want to add that there were two more guided aerial bombs. This is the first time they have reached Mykolaiv. The type is currently being established. But this is the first time since the beginning of the war that the city's outskirts were attacked by KABs», said the head of the RMA.
As a reminder, on the afternoon of 16 October, a Su-34 was launched from the Black Sea. The air strike was aimed at the city of Mykolaiv.
Also on 16 October, Russians attacked Ochakiv and Kutsurub communities in Mykolaiv region five times with FPV drones.
