Kherson under Russian attack: 15 bombs dropped on the city, a woman killed

On the morning of 26 September, Russian troops attacked Kherson with bombs. About 15 bombs were dropped on the city in an hour.

This was reported by the head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration, Oleksandr Prokudin.

According to him, the Russians first attacked the city from the air, damaging the administrative building and about 70 houses.

Later, around 10:00, the central district of Kherson was shelled. A shell hit a multi-storey building. The impact damaged apartments and burnt down cars parked nearby.

The shelling killed a 74-year-old woman who was outside. Two other residents of Kherson were injured in their homes. Medics on the spot treated a 55-year-old man and an 84-year-old woman who suffered contusions, blast and closed head injuries.

«In the morning, the Russian military is intensively shelling Kherson! Stay in safe places and do not go outside today unless absolutely necessary!» Oleksandr Prokudin wrote.

Earlier it was reported that two people were killed and eight others were injured in the Kherson region as a result of Russian shelling over the past day.
