Almost 3,000 declarations filed by residents of Mykolaiv region: tax amounts increased several times

The declaration campaign for 2024 has ended in Mykolaiv region, with almost 3,000 declarations of property and income submitted to the tax office by 1 May.

According to the regional State Tax Service, citizens declared more than 160 million hryvnias in personal income tax to be paid. This is more than 3.5 times higher than in the same period last year.

Revenues from the military fee have also increased - citizens have declared almost 13 million hryvnias, which is more than five million more than last year.

It is also noted that 367 citizens declared incomes of more than one million hryvnias, which is 96 people more than last year. They declared more than 148 million hryvnias in personal income tax and almost nine million hryvnias in military duty. A significant part of this income is earned abroad and from the sale of movable and immovable property.

In addition, 518 citizens took advantage of the right to a tax rebate, declaring three million hryvnias for refund.

The State Tax Service reminded that all taxes specified in the declarations must be paid by 1 July, i.e. within 60 days after the end of the campaign.

As reported earlier, 107 hryvnia millionaires have already been identified in Mykolaiv region when filing income tax returns for 2024.
