«We are asking to create three subsidiaries under Mykolaivoblteploenerho, which will have three different types of activities. The first is Mykolaiv Energy Service Bio. This is due to the fact that 13 modular boiler houses have already been transferred to the enterprise, and six more such installations will be provided in addition. The NEFCO program provides another 8 million euros of grant funds for the construction of biofuel boilers. Therefore, it is expedient to transfer this type of activity to a separate subsidiary,» said Mykola Lohvinov.

The second enterprise is Mykolaivenerhoresurs, which will produce its own electric energy, said the director of Oblteploenerho.

«We are currently installing cogeneration plants at the enterprise and will produce our own electric energy. This measure is included in the report of the Danish company KOVI, and therefore it is expedient to obtain licenses in order to enter the energy market and sell excess electricity,» Mykola Lohvinov said.

The third enterprise is Mykolaivakvaservis, which will deal with the maintenance of osmosis systems, which are currently on the balance sheet of Oblteploenerho.

«All these three enterprises do not foresee an increase in staffing or an increase in funding. This is a change in the structure of the enterprise for more efficient management. It is your decision: you want to accept it, you want not to accept it. I believe that it is effective from the point of view of economy and management,» Mykola Logvinov explained.

Earlier, Mykolaivovblteploenerho stated that 300 million hryvnias are needed to prepare for the next heating season of 2024-2025. Funds will be requested to be allocated from the budget of Mykolaiv.

We remind you that as of February 2023, the state owed Mykolaivvoblteploenerho ₴240 million for the difference in tariffs.

In July 2023, Mykolaiv heat supply enterprises were forced to turn to the Cabinet of Ministers due to the need to allocate more than 500 million hryvnias to repay the debt between the approved and economically justified tariff.

It was also reported that as of the end of June, the people of Mykolaiv owed more than 261 million hryvnias to Mykolaivvoblteploenerho. Of them, more than 88 million is the debt of the previous heating period, the remaining 172 million hryvnias is the debt of previous years.
